6:00 Hours: A Dystopian Novel



It’s been over a decade since earth’s climate changed for the worst. Pollution and little to no emphasis on preservation in favor of economic growth and technological advances has lead to an irreparable change in the Meridional Overturning Circulation (MOC). With these deep sea currents brought to a dangerously slow pace, the weather has become nearly unpredictable, while major tragedies have become more and more common.



Rachel, a young and brilliant college student, Danny, a prepping enthusiast and family father of twins, and Robert, the director of the Emergency Climate Aid Group (EGAC) are each faced with the worst six hours of their life time. As nature unfolds its worst disasters yet, all three protagonists are faced with individual challenges that will determine who survives and who becomes the next victim of mother nature’s force.





A Dystopian Fiction journey into climate change



Many people still chuckle when the topic climate change is brought up. With only few effects visible to the eyes of those who don’t pay much attention, the thought of rising temperatures and an ever-shrinking ozone layer isn’t much of a concern. In a few years, however, these minor changes may equate to a problem much larger than anticipated by those ignoring the effects that pollution has on our planet.



In the Dystopian novel ‘6:00 Hours’ some of the changes that humanity’s reckless behavior may have on planet earth are highlighted.
