Krista Lockhart is a determined twenty-six-year old realtor who had just finished law school at the University of Michigan and was studying to take the bar exam. Married to her college sweetheart Reginald Lockhart, things are going great for the two. Definitely a young couple on the rise.



Reginald Lockhart is a twenty-eight-year old engineer. Together, Krista and Reginald were going to conquer the world. That was until Krista’s grandmother dies leaving Krista a millionaire overnight. She quickly learns the meaning of ‘More money, more problems’ when her husband starts to feel as if working is no longer necessary. Reginald’s decision causes problems for their marriage. Krista is desperate to save the marriage, until a major secret of Reginald’s shatters her hopes.



When a wealthy client contacts Krista’s boss asking for their top realtor, she is handpicked to work with Mr. Romello Michaels himself. Romello is a well-known drug dealer throughout the Detroit area, as well as surrounding cities and states. When the two meet, sparks fly for both of them, but Krista was too determined to fix the damage in her marriage to pay attention to Romello. That is until Krista finds herself standing at the front door of Romello’s new home.
