ASHRAE GreenGuide: The Design, Construction, and Operation of Sustainable Buildings, 3rd ed.

This manual is created to provide help to HVAC&R system designers in designing a green building. It gives the need-to- know information on every aspect of the building process from planning to operation and maintenance of the facility, with emphasis on teamwork and close coordination among interested parties. New topics in this edition are:

- Guidelines on sustainable energy master plans
- Information on how issues related to carbon emissions affect building design and operational decisions
- New GreenTips, including those with green strategies for chilled water plant and boiler plant design

ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is an international organization of some 50,000 persons.
