Sensei Parker is a private investigator and bodyguard when he isn't teaching Aikido in his school in Orlando, Florida. Parker finds himself in Key West with his childhood friends Willie and Sandra, they run a charter boat that caters to tourists. Their nephew has disappeared and his wife and child are frantic for his return. He wouldn’t just walk out, something bad is happening, and Parker must find him. Others are disappearing as well and the charter boat business is in deep trouble. Something is terribly wrong in Paradise, and they need Parker’s help before it's too late.
Synchronicity rears its quirky head as fellow P.I. Opie Taylor hunts down their long-time nemesis Luiz Cruzado and wants Parker’s help capturing him. It just so happens that he's also in Key West. It all happens during Fantasy Fest: boats, bars, beaches and babes... everything Key West is about, plus the FBI, NSA, and other gun toting bad boys... Whew! Nothing is as it seems. Willie and Parker find that reefs are being poisoned and call in the Florida Marine Patrol and the EPA just to be told, ‘Thanks, we’ll take it from here…” and it all takes its toll as Parker struggles to uncover his greatest mystery.
