BMW Art Cars

Alexander Calder’s BMW 3.0 CSL from 1975 was the first in a series of BMW Art Cars brought to life by Hervé Poulain, art lover and auto racing enthusiast, in collaboration with BMW’s Jochen Neerpasch. This volume presents 17 artists who have designed BMWs, including Sandro Chia, David Hockney, Jenny Holzer, Michael Jagamara, A.R. Penck, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol.
