This training booklet covers basic netting as practiced by the Grand Banks fishermen. This booklet was brought out as it is not easy to locate information on netting techniques. The knowledge or direction for constructing functional fishing nets is left for another booklet. There is directions for construction a hammock. The time to learn how to net as described in the booklet is about four hours. To build a hammock requires more than a day.
