Ulrika Torvald, Governor of the State of Karlsvania, was one of the most popular State Governors ever, stunningly beautiful with a magnificent figure, capturing the hearts and minds of the electorate in a way that few politicians had ever achieved, until the public discovered she was guilty of misuse of public office, abuse of privilege, bribery, extortion, corruption, embezzlement and murder. Unsurprisingly, she quickly became the most hated politician ever, and equally unsurprisingly she was sentenced to a lifetime of servitude, all her human rights revoked and to be sold at public auction to the highest bidder.



Also unsurprisingly, the notoriously sadistic Rupert Caine instructed his resourceful assistant Quentin Scales to acquire this unique and highly desirable possession. Even better, Quentin also acquired Governor Torvald’s former assistant Dane Edberg, an attractive, blameless young woman who had been induced to make false confessions on the assurance that the Governor was innocent and would pardon her.
