Such delightful story about helping others...even if you are in a hurry. As you can see from the drawing to the upper right, Maxi is indeed a turtle!
In this children's book, Bruce the Moose is going to his sister's wedding in the evening. He decides that he needs to take a nap and sets his alarm. Well, I think you can guess what happens, right? Fortunately for him, he encounters his friend Maxi. Unfortunately, she has a bit of a problem. Despite the hurry he is in Bruce the Moose does not hesitate in helping his best friend. And, Maxi returns the favor.
***Just a wonderful story that the author says she has written for ages 2 - 8 and P - 4.

I will admit that I had to laugh at some of the drawings...especially Bruce in his suit and his sister in her wedding dress. And, the gift he gave to his sister is priceless~The author is most creative and I enjoy that in a children's book. In addition the drawings are well done and colorful. The book also rhymes which I always think enhances the book for the little ones.
