Clinical Deception

Leaving a cold English winter Dr. Shell Bevan arrives in Austin Texas to help run a medial practice whose owner has been injured in a traffic accident. The accommodation provided for her in a posh affluent neighborhood turns out to be neither as convenient, or as safe, as she expected. The clinic she is to work in also does not meet her expectations.
When she is introduced first hand to the violence of Texas life Shell is almost afraid to stay on in Austin. But somehow people and circumstances will not let her escape. Multiple killings inexplicably seem to involve her. She is trapped in a situation that puts her life at risk. She has no idea why somebody is trying to kill her. Until she is confronted directly by the killer. And then it may be too late.
