Five months have passed since the final showdown between Madison and Silas. Despite distancing herself from all that reminds her of her brother, Madison's vacation away from the witching world can't shake the feeling that part of Silas still exists, even if it is only within her mind.

With the holidays nearing, Madison and Alan end their vacation and head home, but being back at New Haven rips open wounds that haven't had time to heal, causing Madison to question everything.
