So impressive are many of the designs that over the years they have been incorrectly attributed to such designers as Gilbert Rohde, Russel Wright, and Rockwell Kent. This book sets the record straight, documenting the designers of some 175 models. Readers are introduced to such long forgotten designers as John Rainbault, Ray Patten, and Ivan Bruce whose work is often credited to the "big-name" designers. Over 700 Telechron and General Electric models produced between 1925 and 1955 are chronicled through over 900 photographs and illustrations, 430 in color.
