Emma (Tales of the Triad Book 6)

Emma is the post apocalyptic tale of a young girl learning about herself and her world. Born in the kingdom of Tamarkand, a land founded three hundred years before by one of the dark wizards who fled the Citadel, she was the youngest of four in a family where girls were unwanted and unnamed.
