EXIT: THE VAN ZANDT CHRONICLES is a novella that follows Gordon Van Zandt in the weeks in between THE LONG ROAD & SANCTUARY.

Gordon Van Zandt thought he was saving his family when they left the chaos of San Diego following the super-EMP attack, but he was horribly wrong. The long road towards safety in Idaho ended tragically when he and his son, Hunter, were captured by a madman. He managed to survive but not without suffering the loss of his son.
Angry, distraught and vengeful, he embarks on a journey that will take him away from the rest of his family in search of justice and retribution.
He's not alone on his quest, having saved a woman and her son from a band of marauders. With the promise of sanctuary in Idaho, they go with him, but his true destination is a secret he can't divulge. He's racing towards a collision course with Rahab, the man responsible for his son's death.
