Grief (VeriTalks Book 3)

VeriTalks Volume 3, Grief, is adapted from The Veritas Forum at Mayo Clinic in 2011. In this brief but wide-ranging essay, Yale professor emeritus Nicholas Wolterstorff argues for an approach to grief that goes beyond "getting over it." Wolterstorff covers the metaphysical nature of grief, suggestions for incorporating grief into our narrative identity, and practical advice about what to say—and not to say—as a friend, counselor or doctor consoling a grieving person.
