I made a terrible mistake when I slept with the man I was assigned to protect, the sexy playboy billionaire, Charles Gaithers. I know I can’t let it happen again, but keeping him at arm’s length is not as easy as it seems since our chemistry is undeniable and no man has ever made me feel the way he does.



While most people know Charles as a gorgeous, intelligent scientist—who just so happens to avoid commitment at all costs—I’m beginning to see a different side of him, a softer side. When he realized that I was his overweight high school chem lab partner—whom he tormented back in the day—he actually apologized, and he’s spent the last few days trying to make it up to me.
