Outstanding works, by designers that include Gilbert Adrian, Cristóbal Balenciaga, Boué Soeurs, Gabrielle  Chanel, Christian Dior, Mariano Fortuny, Karl Lagerfeld, Paul Poiret, and Valentina, are illustrated with new photography by fashion photographer Nicholas Cope.
