After serving seven years in the Atlanta penitentiary for holding up a bank to get money for his mother’s operation, Jameer has just been released from prison. He strives to walk the straight and narrow path and live a life that his mother can be proud of.

That is until he meets Sharie, the beautiful and witty fashion designer from Bankhead. When he sets eyes on her, he thinks he’s found what he’s been looking for; but Sharie isn’t paying any mind to his empty pockets and criminal record.
