Juno's Foal

Pony-mad Leah Lindberg thinks her summer is over when she is sent to stay with her godmother Freya and twins Isabella and Oscar on their rambling farm, Hollow End.
Things improve when Leah is asked to look after Juno, her godmother's chestnut mare, although she can't understand why no-one else has guessed Juno's secret.
All is revealed one moonlit night when Echo is born. Puzzlingly, the tiny palomino foal bears a striking resemblance to Lightning the circus horse.
There's drama in the big top when the circus comes to town. Just when one mystery is solved there's another to uncover. Juno and Echo have disappeared and it's up to Leah to find them.
Echo is in mortal danger. And Leah is the only one who can save him.
Juno's Foal is a short novel for eight to ten-year-olds.
