Kindergarten Dad

Hallie Ember's lifelong dream has been to write a screenplay that turns Hollywood on its ear. She takes a hiatus from the fast-paced life in LA to work on her script in the peaceful mountains outside of the city. To help make ends meet, she takes a job as a kindergarten teacher at a small, rural school. She loves children, so she isn't surprised when she finds her students charming and adorable.

What does surprise her is her immediate attraction to the father of one of her students. Joshua Snow left LA so that his asthmatic son could breath easy in the smog-free mountain air. He left behind a high-powered job to open a small country store and likes his new life just fine. But Hallie disturbs his quiet life in more ways than he would like to admit. His painful past has made him wary of romantic involvements, but his heart just won't listen.

When Hallie gets the call to return to LA, she is torn between her dream of a glamorous and successful career and her love for Josh and his son. She knows that either choice will break her heart.
