Not Just a House

After four years of hard work, Lena finally landed her dream job as a realtor in a small Wyoming community. Better yet, she convinced the owner of a wonderful old house to do the needed repairs and rent it to her. Things were definitely looking up!



Rancher Cord Michaels, the owner of the rental property, was convinced that Lena had some ulterior motive. She was just a little too keen on that old place. Intrigued by Lena and her mysterious interest in his house, he made arrangements for her to rent a small apartment on the ranch next to his while the repairs could be made. By the time he unearthed her hidden agenda, he'd fallen for the pretty little lady, and suspected she had similar feelings.



While her intentions were good and Cord was inclined to help her, Lena’s temper and lack of concern for her safety bothered him. He had his own method for dealing with such issues. The real issue was, could she deal with his special way of showing how much he cared for her and his protective nature?
