Johanna Thompson and her family are traveling on the infamous Oregon Trail with high hopes of a better life waiting for them on the other side of the mountains. Johanna wants to become a school teacher but her Pa has a different idea of an appropriate future for his daughter.
Rick Hughes has inherited two small children, a wagon and a dream to go to Oregon. Problem is, it wasn’t his dream.
