Steph was trying to make her way as a real estate owner, renting apartments in a bad part of the city. But she had hopes of changing all of that and turning the area around. Steph had an idea of who she wanted to rent to and when James Brool came to look at one of her apartments, she knew the man was no good. He came in with a biker jacket and a cocky swagger that didn’t sit well with her. She was attracted to the bad boy, but he wasn’t the kind of man she wanted living in her apartments.

After turning him away because of his looks, Steph came to regret it, because a guy like James was exactly what she needed when she realized that the area was rougher than she could have imagined. He saved her from a horrible fate and now Steph owed him and she had to figure out a way to pay him back. What did a man like that want from a girl like her?
