Tamila has a hard time finding love. The inevitable life changing events of having not only both of her parents abandon her at an early age but also her grandmother, who raised her upon their departure, dying before she could teach her the real world, were a lot for any young girl to handle. So, she did what any typical young female who was searching for love would do; she longed for love through men. Of course, searching for love from men was not the right choice, but who did she have to teach her otherwise?

Heart break after heart break, Tamila is ready to give up on love, until she meets the man of her dreams. He is a gorgeous god by the name of Kareem who comes into her life like a knight in shining armor. He lived life on the edge and got it how he lived. His lifestyle of selling drugs isn’t what stops them from having a happily ever after, however. Instead, it is her best friend, Ke’Aira, and Kareem’s twitching fist that constantly threatens her happily ever after.
