In the darkness I wait for her, the precious energy who defies our lore. The one I call “Anomalia.” The one my brother would have me destroy.
It’s been seventeen hours since I beheld her last, shrouded by my shield as I brushed against her radiance; desperate to know how she, a Temporal, could possess such awareness here. After all, In Transitory should be a realm known only to we of sacred Ethereal blood; a state Temporals reach, but never recall, as they dream.
Except for her – this enchanting Temporal girl, this most confounding anomaly. Her awareness rivals that of most Ethereals. And that’s why tonight, for her sake, I must find her.
