In the middle of a glorious nowhere, there is a valley – the North American continent’s largest alpine valley – where a hermit and his canine friends live. Surrounded by mountains, when summer comes, another sort of magic visits the valley: wildflowers, including the common sunflower, Helianthus Annuus.
