Surinam, Switi Sranan

Surinam is a remarkable country for many reasons. It is a multi-faceted society: with less than half a million inhabitants, the country is home to a number of population groups. Surinam is a fascinating mosaic of cultures, lifestyles and much beside. About three-quarters of the country is tropical rainforest.
