When I went to lockup, I lost everything. My job, my house, my family, my reputation…and Spencer. My beautiful fiancée.



The rest I could forgive. But I can’t ignore the fact that my brother, who promised me he’d look after Spencer, did so by getting engaged to her. Or the fact that Spencer left me to rot. No, I’m no longer the kind of man who can look past such betrayal. I’m no longer the Jasper Collins who wanted everyone to love him, who tried to impress his father, who sat limply behind a big desk and watched his life get steamrolled.



Prison has made me strong. Tough. Hard.



So now that I’ve been released, I have some plans to set in motion. And they start with Spencer, my sweet fiancée, my gorgeous heartbreak. I don’t know what I’m going to do with her when it comes down to it, but I do know I’m going to get her back.
