But doing so means facing a difficult part of his past all while struggling with the fact that Cael may protect him just as much as he protects her.

Exiled from his homeland, the assassin Galen never thought he would return, but he promised the beautiful Cael he would see her safely returned. When they reach the city and Cael is abducted, Galen must work with an unlikely ally, for much more than simply losing Cael is at stake.
