The High King: A Tale of Alus

When the greed of the King of Marshalla leads his sorcerers to bring gargoyles and dragons to his world, he forms an invincible army of destruction to take over the countries of North Continent. His own people are not exempt from his harsh and often brutal tactics either.

Gerid Aramathea and his brother Simon find their home destroyed and friends and family killed, all because of a simple duel between the sixteen year old boy and the king’s guards. Fleeing the country, the two young men vow to return someday to make King Merrick pay for his crimes.

Their flight aboard a merchant vessel goes awry as pirates attack. Separated and sold into slavery, can Gerid and his brother find a way to save themselves, find each other back and still find a way to fulfill their vow?
