1938 P.F. Collier & Con. Complete set of 10 volumes #1-10. The volumes of the "new" junior classics are larger & heavier than some sets. Each book measures approximately 9.6" x 7.3" x 1.4". The paper used is higher quality & more durable than paper used in some sets. Except as mentioned now, the books are in very good condition -- one cover has a 1/4" tear and a dark 1/16" mark, one page is partially torn, some pages have barely perceptible browning as happens with older books, Bindings are secure. Contains over 1000 color illustrations according to the cover page. This set weights about 27 lbs. and will be mailed by USPS Media mail with insurance & tracking. Exceptional collection of literature, beginning with favorite poems and shorter stories to read to young children and for beginning readers.
