The Scrolls of Velia

When Mary Carver makes a deal with a psychiatric patient, Dr. Adella Fortier, who claims to have unearthed seven skulls as evidence in a case involving the murders of a team of scientists, she inadvertently involves herself, and her skydiving partner, Henry Warland, in a quest to solve an even greater mystery.

Beginning with a cryptic message left by a German cabal at the end of World War Two, which refers to the ‘Road of the Dead,’ Mary, Henry, and Adella journey across Europe hunting for clues—all while under the constant threat of a fanatical, murderous cult. When the trail leads to the ruins of an ancient Greek colony on the western coast of Italy, the birthplace of Parmenides and the land of Apollo, the real mysteries, and battles, begin.
