Sword: The Historical Fencing Guild's Manual of Defense Volume 1

Simply put, this is a manual to learn a user friendly approach to classical fencing and swordplay. I have dedicated myself for 15 years developing and teaching a style that is easy to learn, effective, and most importantly accessible. The Simple Sword was born from the idea that anyone who truly wishes to learn how to handle a sword, regardless of limitation.
This volume focuses primarily on the rapier, and related secondary styles, such as fighting with dagger and bucklers. It is geared toward the novice, so if you never even touched a sword before, this can help you. Further, this volume goes into how select your equipment, advice on crafting your gear when possible, even tips on how you may from a student to training students of your own. It is the Author's hope that The Simple Sword can set you on a journey of adventure and personal growth.
