A collection of grief & nature poems for all wanderers, THE WILD KEEPS HER HOLY, is inspired by Aurora's exit from her lifelong membership in the mormon church, after surviving & coming to terms with ongoing abuse she experienced as a young teenager in a religious setting. Through heartfelt words which are strategically placed within five chapters, to give the reader the feeling of being on a structured healing journey, Aurora describes the grieving process as she experienced it, using poetry to convey how she completely lost her identity (& found it again) as an adult. This trek through different seasons, terrains, & the elements, touches on self-love, heartbreak, relationships, mental health, forgiveness, & ultimately moving forward. Aurora writes with her own unique & contemporary style, sealed with a classic twist.
