Virulent: Stories

Virulent: Stories is a companion text to the Virulent Trilogy. It should be considered book #1.5 and is best read after finishing Virulent: The Release.

While each story in the book can act as a stand-alone text, some of them can and do contain spoilers to Book One of the Virulent Trilogy.

WHAT HAPPENED ON RELEASE DAY?

While Lucy King was trapped inside Pacific Lake High School on Release Day, the rest of the world succumbed to a deadly virus unleashed by vigilante bioterrorists. Virulent: Stories takes you into Release Day and shares the perspectives of six different characters. The stories in the collection are:

From burying family pets to leaving the house to operate one of the drones used to release the virus, each character provides his or her unique tale of death, destruction, fear, and empowerment.
